Hotel Fontan 04/15/02

My husband and I had the misfortune to stay at the Fontan Hotel Dive Resort in Cozumel the week of November 23 - Dec. 3, 2001. It was a nightmare. The hotel is undergoing change of ownership or something (selling memberships). The bar and restaurant were closed. We had to ask to have the hot water turned on because they were repairing the pipes or something. The last straw was when the water was turned off completely and they would not turn it back on. This was our 4th visit to Cozumel. Because of the terrible treatment by this hotel, we will not be returning. Please do not allow anyone else to suffer as we did. Please feel free to contact me. I also hope you will verify what I am telling you for the sake of other travelers.
