The resort is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and architecture. Service was great the bartenders are wonderful once you befriend them and the waitor staff in the dining areas are great tooo!!!!! We did find however that the Bartending staff was a little understaffed at times. But the rooms,food,service,and atmosphere are first class. We stayed there last year and will continue to vacation at Barcelo Maya for years to come.
