We stayed at the Cancun Oasis (all-inclusive, not the Grand Oasis) in March '99 and it was excellent. However, it's a standard hotel nothing too fancy - I say excellent because of Cancun itself. The hotel has several restaurants, bars and an amazing boardwalk where part of the pool is. The pool is the best part of the hotel: 1/4-mile long, four swim-up bars, bridges, waterfalls. There's a 24-hours sports bar and a grill right at the pool. The beach is AMAZING! That's the best part of the trip. That Caribbean Sea is sweeter than sweet and I've always been planning go back. Watch out for the giant peacocks! (when you stay at the hotel you'll know what I mean). See ya!
