We were stunned by the Melia from the moment we walked into the lobby. Friendly staff, clean well appointed facilities, a great beach, and close proximity to shopping and ground transportation. I can't speak for the food; we ate at a variety of nearby spots - there's a Planet Hollywood, Sanborns for breakfast, and I understand there is a Marguarittaville now. My only complaint is that they tried to quietly tack on mini-bar charges at check out. We complained and the charges were removed, but just be careful.
