Aventura Spa Palace 02/22/2003

My husband and I spent five days at the Aventura Spa Palace in January for our 13 year anniversary. We like the all-inclusive resorts. In the past we have gone to Jamaica but gave Cancun a try. Not disappointed! The place was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Food for breakfast and lunch only fair but it steps up a few notches in the evening. Spacious rooms with a very large Jacuzzi, turndown service, private balcony with hammock, friendly staff, beautifully landscaped grounds, etc. made for a very enjoyable vacation. Whether you want to relax by the pool, or man-made beach or work out in the vast workout room, this place is for you. Only drawback was the weather which was a bit colder than we expected and it rained on and off most of the time we were there, but this did not dampen our spirits. We had a great time. (Let me just say that on the ride to and from the hotel we shared the ride with the same three couples, each of whom stayed at different resorts. In comparing our accommodations, we hands down had the best place. The other three couples were not as pleased with their choice of hotels as we were.)
