Fiesta Grand Resort And Spa 03/22/2003

I loved this resort! It was really big(and I mean REALLY big)
There are accually 2 resorts in one. Colonial Fiesta and Kantenah Fiesta. I stayed in Colonial. The beach is awesome, not at all cold, it was accually quite warm(caution: put sunscreen on before you go into the water! I got a sun burn, but it didn't hurt) and the water is a little big cloudy but it is still beautiful and blue/green. When you walk out not by much, there are about 20 angelfish that swim up to you. So before you go into the beach, bring some bread for the fishies!
The bar was really good. I was only 12 when I went, now I am 13. I had Miami Vices, Strawberry Daquries, (my family also made me taste some taquilla. yuck in my case) They purified the water in the resturants and all I have to say is: Really good water! The theatre was really cool, they did impressions like Elvis, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, it was just awesome! I definetly give this resort 10 stars out of 5.(if you know what I mean) There are 4 different resturants that you have to make reservations. Mexican, Italian, Japenesse, and Steakhouse. You can only reserve 3 though. We went to Japenesse,Italian, and Steakhouse. The japenesse was OK, the Italian was good(excellent tortillini) and the Steakhouse was awesome. The buffet had basically American/Canadian food, it was excellent food. The crepes are awesome. The pool is about 5"3 deep, It is a really big pool,really big. We went to Tulum and that is a must see. There is a beach there too. We also went to Playa Del Carmen for some shopping. There is a beach there too and there is excellent shopping there. Tulum is 15mins away and Playa Del Carmen is about 20-30mins. There are types of animals such as: Flamingos, Crabs, Opposums, Iguanas and some more. There wasn't really alot of animals, i was kind of upset about that. There is also this homeless calico cat there that is really nice, if you see him, give him some water or bread, i think he would really appreciate it. The disco was fun except for one thing, the kids disco was on during the theatre and kids i think from 8 or 9 till 10pm and after the shows, it's aduld only disco, and it is really hard not to watch the shows cause they are really facinating and cool! The service there is really good. I would really love to go back, so if any one is going, please take me with you! (just jokeing) The walking is really nice, and if you don't want to walk, you can call up the front for someone to get you in a golf coarse veichle to give you a ride. We went November 15/2002 and it was there fall and it was a little bit chilly at night but in the morning, very humid, and it is a very nice place for a sun tan. They also have a nice spa and the rooms are comfurtable. I don't really think there is anything negative about it? All I have to say is that if you pick this place for a vacation, you picked the right choice and I think that you will have tons of fun. From the feedback of a 13 year old, I LOVED THIS PLACE.
