Ruins located across the street offered an inexpensive (time and money) alternative to Tulum/Chichen Itza. Public transportation easily accessible. Not much of a beach - swim warnings up most of the time. Pools available. Miniature golf on the grounds, along with shopping. Food was good and plentiful - buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with 2 sit-down restaurants (reservations needed) and various snack bars (hours varied). Try the non-alcoholic pina coladas or strawberry daiquiris - refreshing!!! (Took our 2 teens and 1 preteen with us - everyone had an enjoyable time.)
