This ain't no Marriot.Kura Hulanda is a 5-star quaint,new hotel that's an independent venture of a dutch entrepreneur and it is the ultimate retreat!It's an undiscovered,uncommercialized gem off the beaten path in Curacao.
Lush hidden gardens,fabulous restaurants,waterfalls and an expertly-trained staff make the experience more like a miniature, magical Disneyland than a run-of-the-mill hotel. Reccommend cozy Indian restaurant called "Jaipur." with a chatty,personable chef anxious to take you behind-the-scenes.This gamble is completely worth it.
Bad news: no beach. But they have a clean,quick shuttle that'll take you there complete with towels and beach chairs.(You'll feel like royalty) Separate beach location on the way.
Most unique hotel,err-retreat, I've ever been to.
