We just returned from a week at Breezes (January 31 through Feb 7). Prior to departure, I was having second thoughts because of some of the negative comments on the internet. However, our week there was wonderful! The resort itself is beautiful and very clean. We stayed on the second floor of the Plover building overlooking the ocean. The rooms were very nicely decorated, very clean and convenient to activities. I loved the crisp cotton sheets!

>I thought the food was excellent with lots of variety - some type of grilled steak every night including tenderloin, NY, etc. Plus, every night they offered some type of beef, poultry, seafood and a pasta bar. Breakfasts and lunch were great in Jimmy's, and we enjoyed snacks from the beach bar. Food was good at both the Japanese and Italian restaurants, but very filling.

>We were always able to find a chair on the beach. The resort is set on a very long stretch of beach, so you always have the choice of being by the pool and activities, or sitting further away and just enjoying the quiet.

>The entertainment was fun. Even though I went to the casino for a short time each day, I almost wish it wasn't there - it took away from why we were really there.

>The only downfall was the beach. Lots of coral washes up on shore, and while the staff does an excellent job of raking and clearing the beach, you really do need water shoes if you want to go into the water. We only snorkeled about 2-3 times during the whole week.

>Overall, we loved Breezes and Curaco.
