Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino

My wife and I just returned from a week's stay at the Marriott and are extremely happy with our hotel choice. Our check-in was a little rocky because we were there 2 hours ahead of the check-in time, but that was fine because it gave us a chance grab a bite to eat and walk around a little. When we did get to our room it was exactly as we had ordered (a king size bed and above the ground floor). It was spotless with a much larger bathroom than you would imagine for a hotel in the Caribbean. Our breakfast was the only thing included for what we had booked and there was so much to choose from. This could fill you up for the day so you didn't even need to think about lunch. We had dinner once at Potofinos and this was a true dining experience. My wife and I both had the lamb which was very good. The other 2 dining choices were at the Seabreeze which was very nice and 1 night for the beach BBQ which was spectacular. The grounds itself were very clean and highly maintained. Last, but definitely not least, are the employees. Every person that we dealt with directly was very helpful and knowledgable about the hotel itself or anything to do with the island. Just walking by an employee, they always had a smile on their face and were always quick to say hello. I would definitely go back again.
