This January we will be returning to Guardalavaca for the 15th time since 1995. Why do we keep going back???? It's simple....the people!.
Nowhere in our travels have we developed such friendships with staff and locals as we do in Guardalavaca. No, they never ask for anything...and in factt they are quite humbled when we do give gifts. We get letters about there lives, never asking for anything more than our friendship. The appeal of the Cuban people was so strong, that in January 2000, Jan and I got married at out favorite bar on the beach "El Caney". We invited our Cuban friends for the celebration and it was like having family present.
By all means, consider Las Brisas and the other resorts of Guardalavaca when planning your next get-away.
