Hello to all! I just came back from the Solymar after a week of vacation. I must say that this resort is unequal in its aspects. Positively, the resort itself is beautiful, the beach is sensational and the service is good (better if your a good tipper unfortunatly). The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. Unfortunatly, many visitors complained about the air conditionning. It seemed to fail very often. Negatively, I must tell you that the food is, I'm sorry to say, extremely disgusting! The Solymar will loose a lot of customers because of it. Everyone I spoke to said that they would not come back to this resort because of the food. Sometimes it is even dangerous: mayonaise and cheese were left out in the hot temperature for many hours at a time. Some people got sick. Please feel free to write to me if you have any questions.
