This review was requested by a E-mail in response to a statement that I made on the forum about this place. It's a very nice large resort, and we had a ocean view room which was fantastic, the only problem we had was the hot water, the last four days of our trip we had to do a little dance in the shower so we wouldn't get scalded or shocked by the cold water. I don't know if you have been to Cuba before but the food is typical cuban food bland, the Italian restaurant was OK, the grill would have been better if the food came back hot or a least warm, we were in the DR last year and found the food better, they had a piano bar which was good and was next door to the games room, they had two Jacuzzis one by the pool which didn't work that well and one that was by a small bar which was excellent on our only cool day of the week. The atmosphere here is very laid back which, was to quite for me but since there is a bunch of couples going you should be OK, they had pool volleyball in the afternoon and bingo at 3:00 or 3:30 pm, there was nothing doing on the beach till at least the third day of our trip. The BEACH, what can you say it was gorgeous, nice white sand lots of space for everybody, you can walk for miles and see a lot of the activities going on at the other resorts, if you have sensitive feet watch out for broken seashells they are sharp.
