My finance and I went during the first week of September which is low season. The resort overall was beautiful. The beach was probably the best I have ever been to. Very clean. Down fall to this resort was the food. We determined that the food was poor due to low season. They had little fresh fruits, vegetables etc. If you are not a fish eater than you had little good food to eat. The only restaurant that was good out of the 6 they had to offer was the Cuban house. The steak was o.k. there. Also other services were cut back. Entertainment was poor, even parts of the pools were closed down. I think we may try this place one more time during a different time to see if it improves but the positive side of it all was there was little people to wait in line or share the beach with. As this is Canadian operated, I feel they should be very careful in keeping the offerings going even during low season. Everyone who vacations should get what they paid for regardless of the time of the year.
