This was our first trip and we went three years ago and cannot say enough about it. We will definitely be back after we tour some other areas. The beach here is okay - but the sand is definitely not the greatest. This is because of all the coral reef around the hotel. If you are into snorkelling you are in for a treat. However, if you came to swim in the ocean WATCH OUT - there is lots of coral and if you are not careful you will surely cut yourself. There is one pool here and it is okay - not the biggest but the temp. is great and the service by the pool is awesome. We were ordering 10 banana mamas at a time one day. The rooms are clean and if you leave the maid a little something she will leave you swans made out of towels. We took lots of crayons, lipsticks etc. The nightly entertainment is amazing here - you really do not want to miss it - you will soon understand why this is an adult only resort. Also if you go into Varadero check out the jungle tour - you go out onto the ocean on jet skis to get there and also swimming with the dolphins is definitely worth the money it will cost you. All in all this is an excellent resort.
