We arrived on Oct. 20 at midnight for 1 week. The next morning we had no air conditioning in the room after 9 am. We asked it be turned on and the front desk asked "why?". Why because we paid for a room with AC. The rest of the week was a battle each day for AC which we usually got at 10 pm. The bedding was damp & our clothes from high humidity in the room. We asked for a room change, no luck. Our rep asked no luck. We wrote the hotel manager and he did not have the courtesy to talk to us. Alexander at the desk was rude & arrogant and gave excuses why we did not have AC, none of which made any sense. It was a week from he--. Another family asked for AC so their baby could sleep during day. After talking to guests we were only 2 rooms without AC all day, altho I am sure there were others. Rest of hotel was fine, especially staff other than front desk staff. We are asking for compensation and will let you know.!!1st trip to Cuba for us.
