Just returned from El Senador yesterday. For the money, this is an excellent resort. Beautiful property, gorgeous beach, friendly and competent staff make this resort excellent value for the money. The Hotel is large and the landscaping is immaculately maintained. The food in the a la carte restaraunts was superb! The buffet food was good to very good on most days. The service is a little slow in the buffet restaraunts. Coffee was hard to come by as there was not enough staff on duty. The entertainment staff were fabulous.

Awesome with children. Can't wait to go back!
