First Sandals resort visited and definitely not the last! Great resort, top notch. I have travelled to many resorts (i.e. Allegro, Melia/Tryp, Iberostar) and nothing compares to the quality and setting of a Sandals resort!! We felt that we were actually in paradise! Very Romantic. The room was fabulous and very clean. We never lifted a finger and everything was at our beckon call. The pool was like nothing I have seen before...Waterfalls, rocks, lagoons, bridges etc..Not to mention Champange, Caviar, Crab, lobster, Shrimp, Filet Mignon. No hassle reservations at resturants, quality premium alchool drinks etc... I can't say enough about this resort. Perhaps the only thing was the entertainment, which was the same thing all the time(Boring). Also the food is more limited as say Jamaica or Mexico because Cuba is restricted. So don't expect variety like other countries, also their food is not as tasty(Spiced) as say North America. Other than that I have no other complaints, which says a lot. I have definitely convinced myself that you get what you pay for when you go to a Sandals resort. Enjoy and be spoiled. P.S. Please remember the resort just opened so don't expect all the staff and facility's to be 100%. I would say the resort is 95% ready. Beach: Excellent Hotel: Superb Pool: Heaven Food: Quality and presentation amazing. Taste needs work.... Staff: Well trained and very nice
