I have just reurned from a 2 week holiday in the Iberostar Hotel Cayo Guillermo. I have to say that over all the standard at the hotel was fantastic. You cannot fault the staff all polite and extremely helpful. Outstanding. Although becareful of offers of cigars and rum in return for goods. We were ripped off a brand new pair of trainers by a guy that we got to know quite well and thought we could trust. The food at the hotel is ok the the breakfast is good with fantastic smoothies especially the banana and melon!!! The omlettes are really good too. If you get the pasta guy called Hector your also in for a real treat his pesto pasta was out of this world. Otherwise don't get your hopes up!!. My only other tip for a brilliant holiday lots of mozzie repelant I was eaten alive. 78 bits and a trip to the hotel doctor he too was very good. The hotel is near a mangrove swamp!! 7/10.Would go again.
