Stayed at the Tortuga in November- weather & beach were excellent, but the hotel was less than desired. VERY poor customer service, terrible food (watch for ants in your food & drinks!),have to pay to use beach towels, leave light on in bathroom to prevent cockroaches, breakfast ends at 9:30am, lunch at 12:30-2:00 & make sure you eat enough since dinner doesn't start til 7:30pm! The snack bar has hockey puck burgers & nitrite hot dogs-which we wouldn't eat even when we were starving. Take lots of power bars & pepto bismol & tylenol
