Costa Morena de Santiago de Cuba, stayed there for 2 weeks in January 2003. I would recommend this 2 stars hotel only to peoples who have a very limited budget. Sure there are some good points like the wonderful weather, the clean rooms, the beautiful landscape and the friendly staff. But there are many problems. The restaurant is terrible, the buffet is very small with very little choice. It is the same day after day after day. Moreover it is difficult to find something hot, everything is only warm. About the snack counter you can find hot-dogs and hamburgers, but only if they are not short on bread or meat which is often the case. Don't count on having a snack after 15h00. You could try to comfort yourself at the bar but even there you could be disappointed. One day they are missing ice, the other day the don't have juice to make drinks, another day there is no milk for the drinks and if one day you are lucky enough and they have all the ingredients, the barman can only serve beer because he has no shaker (blender) !!! If you want to change your mind by doing some activity like pedalo, kayak, windsurf or catamaran be aware that none of these is available at the resort (contrary to what you can read in the TMR 2003 brochure). There is no sand beach at the resort. There is a natural pool where you can swim but you have to wear shoes because the bottom is rough. The resort does not provide free bottle water. They say that the tap water is drinkable but they strongly suggest that you buy bottle water !!! The entertainment is average. In conclusion this hotel is very cheap, and what you get is what you pay for... I won't go back.

Costa Morena de Santiago de Cuba, s骯ur de 2 semaines en janvier 2003. Je ne recommanderais cet h� class頲 鴯iles qu'aux personnes ayant un budget tr賠tr賠restreint. Il y a quand mꭥ quelques bons c� comme la temp鲡ture superbe, la propret頤es chambres, le paysage agr顢le et le personnel vraiment accueillant. Par contre il y a beaucoup de probl譥s. Le restaurant est tr賠m餩ocre, le buffet est tout petit avec tr賠peu de choix, et c'est toujours la mꭥ chose jour apr賠jour. De plus c'est difficile de trouver un plat chaud, c'est toujours ti褥. Pour ce qui est du casse-cro�on y retrouve des hot-dogs et des hamburgers, ࠣondition qu'il ne manque pas de pain ou de viande ce qui est tr賠souvent le cas. Ne pensez pas obtenir quelque chose au casse-cro�apr賠15h00. On pourrait se consoler au bar mais encore lࠩl y a des lacunes incroyables. Une journ饠le bar manque de glace, une autre journ饠il n'y a plus de jus pour faire les cocktails, une autre journ饠il n'y a pas de lait pour les cocktails, et quand il y a tout ce qu'il faut le barman ne peut servir que de la bi貥 parce qu'il n'a pas de shaker (blender) !!! Si vous voulez faire des activit鳠soyez avis頱ue vous ne retrouverez pas de p餡lo, kayak, planche ࠶oile ou catamaran (contrairement ࠣe qui est indiqu頤ans la brochure de TMR 2002-2003). Il n'y a pas non plus de plage de sable sur place, il y a une piscine de mer o�#39;on doit se baigner avec des sandales car le fond n'est pas beau. Pour ce qui est de l'eau en bouteille elle n'est pas fournie gratuitement. On nous dit que l'eau du robinet est potable mais on nous sugg貥 quand mꭥ fortement d'acheter de l'eau en bouteille !!! Pour ce qui est de l'animation c'est tr賠ordinaire. En bref cet h� ne co�pas cher, mais vous en avez vraiment pour votre argent... Je n'y retournerai pas.
