Hi all, did a lot of research before I went, this was one of the great sites that helped me make my holiday of a lifetime come true. We went July 4th for 2 weeks....Please set all of your minds at rest, this resort is fantastic !!! the complex is spectacular, 40,000 square metres of beautiful gardens. Great service & Great food. Recommendations-Mexican & Italian Restaurant book for 7pm(less mosquetos)other Restaurant is not all that. Buffet is great..but a word of warning.. take plenty of mosquito spray other wise you will be biten to death as the complex is built on mash land, you will need at least a can per week. The Cuban people are very friendly, the weather is hot and sunny, the pool is clean and massive, the massages are a must at $10 per 30 mins, catamaran is exhilarating as are jungle tour speed boats. Dolphins are magical, and a helecopter ride to santa domingo is interesting (so I've heard). Buy your cigars in the hotel they are cheeper then at the airport!...on the hole I can not fault this resort, Cuba, and Thomsons Holidays....this has got to have been the best Holiday I've had....If you want to find pictures on the net visit "whatwesaw.com" (cuba section...email me if you have any questions....HAVE FUN:)
