Again, this is an excellent choice. Second trip back to the resort. Was given red rose and bottle of rum for return visit. This resort again, exceeded my expectations. The staff, grounds, activities and food are excellent. This is a more upscale resort, and very quite. The hotel is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you are cheap, needing a drinking holiday, this is not the place for you. Cost for a week was $1139 + tax. (Could have went to Club Atlantic Amigo for $555 + tax) but again you get what you pay for. This place will pamper you and treat you very special. Had lobster and shrimp and scallops every night. Room service menu is excellent and included in the price of the vacation. Horse back riding was fun. Again, if you have the $$$ and are looking for a luxury vacation this is the place. If you are looking to get drunk at a minimal price and be loud goto Atlantico. Manuel at the bar is excellent. Michell in Animation is excellent. These guys aren't your regual tip me for service. They will bend over backwards for you and help you with whatever you need and of course they are not looking for a tip.(but good service should get a tip). Treat hotel staff with respect and you will never have any problems. (Remeber this is Cuba, don't look for trouble). This hotel also caters to british and european clients. Only heard of some problems with the guests of a certain European country which you could guess the one.
