We found the resort clean, beautiful vegetation, workers friendy. Was disappointed when we arrived one person behind desk putting people to their rooms at 2:00am. Found front desk personal did not explain things well.
Did manage to find our way around. A very big resort, they had golf carts to get around the resort. Rooms were clean and all had private balconys.
The beach was beautful with lots of shade if you wanted that. Lots of beach chairs and water sports available. And beach bar was nice as well. One thing was not mentioned alot in brochures that this resort has alot of steps to go to main restaurants, pools, etc., The A'La Carte restaurants were nice. The Mixed Grill Restaurant we felt was the best food in daytime and evening. If you did not book the next day from arrival you could not get in this restaurant.
There was a lot of families there when we were there. I do not think that young kids under 19 should be allowed at swim-up bar. Food in buffet was alright but breakfast was the best. Found food was not always hot but you could always find someting to eat. This was our 3rd trip to Cuba with a different spot each time. We like the Holguin Area. The Ocean Paradise snorkel tour is the best if you like this adventure. Day trips to local market is nice. People do not hassle you there. Ross & Gail, Nova Scotia, Canada
