Playa Coca Hotel Cayo Coca 03/08/2006

This Hotel is supposed to be a 4-star plus. Having stayed in a Gaviota 4-star plus in December 2005 at Playa Pasquero, the one we stayed in in February which was the Playa Coca Hotel on the island of Cayo Coco bore no resemblence to the excellent Playa Costa Verde. The Playa Coca hotel had dirty and broken sunbeds around the pool area. The reception area was flooded when it rained due to the roof leaking (not what you expect from a 4-star plus rated hotel). The only aspect which I would award a 4-star plus rating would be to the a-la-carte restaurants which were very good.
