Having traveled the Caribbean alone for the past 10 years,
staying all-inclusive I found the Sol Cayo Guillermo to be the
best ever. The staff are friendly, polite, helpful, patient (even with the most difficult of guests and there were a few) and cannot
do enough for you. The entertainment team include all in their activities not just the young, fit and beautiful but also the old, fat and ugly! I felt at home, like part of a big, happy
family.
The food is excellent, the rooms large, clean and airy (I too had the room next to the massage centre and I COULD see the ocean?). Any problems (very few) were immediately attended to.
The surrounding areas (pool, beach etc) are kept to a high
standard of maintenance and cleanliness.
I cried a bucket full of tears the day I left and enjoyed it so
much that I immediately booked my return trip the day after I
returned home. In fact I've booked to return twice next year -
for my birthday in April and again for October... can't say more
than that can I?
