Resort has everything you need: restaurant, dive operator, great beach, night life, 2 pools (one with a swim-up bar), uncrowded, great staff. I definitely recommend staying at MTC. While it is about 45 minutes from Georgetown, the ride along the ocen goes quite quickly and is not too bad at all.
