Great
Spent a wonderful week at Spanish Bay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, air conditioned and functional. Of course the only time we were in the room was to change clothes and sleep.We rate their food service as excellent. They served three meals a day, with a two hour serving period at each meal. Quality of the food and service was excellent.
The grounds, pool, lounge areas were kept in perfect condition at all times. The dive shop personnel were informative and very knowledgeable at giving scuba classes and dives.
While we were aware they were being paid to provide a service, you can tell when some one goes above and beyond the customary service they provide. There is no doubt they wanted each guest to feel as if they were part of the "family". When the guest treats the staff with the same respect, it was truly a remarkable experience.
With the jeeps provided by the resort, it was only a five or ten minute drive to the hustle and excitement of Georgetown or Seven-Mile Beach area. Since we were on a vacation to relax, we only left the resort for one day of sightseeing. Everything we needed was at Spanish Bay (except for the earrings the wife wanted to buy).
We are all ready in the process of booking a ten day stay at Spanish Bay next summer. That is probally the highest reccomendation I can make, the fact that we are returning.
