Marriott Grand Cayman 11/16/00

We stayed at the Marriott from 10 ö 14 November and while they have NO beach it was still a memorable stay. If youāre a beach person the Marriott runs hourly shuttles to some of the other major hotels in the area. We really enjoyed the friday evening Pirate Night at the Marriott, food and entertainment easily met our expectations. The cool thing about the Marriott is that itās situated such that there are a number of restaurants (fast food too) within walking distance. The Turtle farm is worth while (but donāt set your expectations too high) but Iād skip Hell,. gotta be the most overrated tourist attraction ever. The Stingray experience is not to be missed, we made the trip with Capt Bryan but that was a pretty low key affair (Iād try another Capt next time). Best restaurant was the Wharf, itās a bit pricey ($150 for 2) but the food was great, a less pricey alternative is the Hard Rock Café in Georgetown, its right on the water and the service was great.
