The Royal Reef Resort 11/17/00

If I could have chosen 10 stars, I would have. We were a group of six staying at the Royal Reef four months after it opened. The resort was not yet completely finished, yet somehow it managed to be the most beautiful place we've ever stayed at.Located in Colliers Bay in the East End, it is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from the airport. The drive was worth it from the minute we stepped on the property. The luxurious villas have central air conditioning, daily maid service, televisions, VCR's and CD players. Each room has a balcony or terrace. We had an ocean-view room, and it was absolutely breathtaking. There is a first class dive shop located in the main building, and watersports available. If you want a secluded getaway, this is definately the place to be. We rented a car and enjoyed touring the island, and going back to our out-of-the-way resort for relaxation. The service is top-notch, and the rooms were the cleanest I've ever seen! We had a wonderful vacation at the Royal Reef, and are eagerly planning a return trip next year.
