Exotica Cottage Resort 1/17/00

This place is simply breath taking. hidden in the mountains of Morne Anglais (1400 feet above sea level) every morning you are greeted by Antillean crested hummingbirds, blue headed hummingbirds, purple throated hummingbirds, Lesser Antillean bull finches, house wrens, common ground doves, chicken hawks, broad winged hawks, (grey) kingbirds, bananaquit and yellow warblers. The eight self-contained cottages are situated on four acres of which 1.5 is an organic farm. The Sugar Apple Cafe is located on the property and within walking distance of all 8 cottages. The food is to die for, especially the lamb in mint sauce and the creole red snapper. To take the indulgance a little further, always have a dessert. Diving, snorkeling, whale watching, hiking, and tours can all be easily arranged through the managers.
