Papillote Wilderness Ressort 6/25/00

To begin with the positive aspect: the staff in the ressort were all very friendly and helpful. The hot baths from the spring were very relaxing and the food served in the restaurant was excellent. But the atmosphere of the place is heavily disturbed by an overload of day-guests visiting the nearby waterfall and a very noisy hydroelectric powerplant which of course runs 24h. May be our expectations were too high. Papillote still is one of the famoust places to stay in Domonica, but we had the impression that it is a bit living on his past. At least we found it a bit too crowded and the rooms not very clean.
