I travelled to this all inclusive resort the end of January 2000. The grounds of the resort were absolutly beautiful. The room was very spacious with ample living and stroage space. It was kept every clean and tidy. The food was good. You could eat 24 hours a day and get any type of food you like. The beach and the ocean were amazing!!!!The sand was very white and the water was so clear. We spent most of our time on the beach or participating in different activities with the Chocolate Friends. Now I think that is why I had such a wonderful time. The Chocolate Friends really know how to make you feel right at home and communication was not a problem considering most of them spoke spanish, english and either french or german.I definatly recommend this resort to everyone. It is accomodating for people of all ages and interests. If you like to sit on the beach and sip a drink, you can do that. If you like water sports and other activities such as beach volleyball and water aerobics than this place is for you. Not to forget to mention that there is a little fishing village within walking distance from the resort where you can do all your shopping.
If its the night life that you are after, there is a disco in the hotel that is good to meet people at. If you are adventurous, then you can head into Bocha Chica to the disco there. Just be careful though....you might want to bring a local along with you.
Overall, I rate the resort a 9/10.
