Iberostar Costa Dorada 10/26/00

Colin and I travelled to the Iberostar, Costa Dorada on 04.10.00. We were very, very impressed with everything about the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the ornamental ponds are home to all sorts of birds; ducks, geese and flamingo's, and there are terrapins in the beautiful reception area. There are also intrepid bats which fly around the open air bar! The pool is beautiful and clean, with a whirlpool located right in the centre. The staff of the hotel are all very friendly and so helpful that you feel they can't do enough for you. The food is excellent, in all the restaurants, although the Brazillian restaurant fare was not to our personal tastes. The STAR entertainment team worked very hard, organising activities around the beach and pool areas during the day, and in the concert auditorium in the evening, to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. Our room was very clean, well furnished and totally bug free. We would definitely visit the hotel again.
