Casa Marina Beach 12/15/00

My boyfriend and I just returned from 2 incredible weeks in the Dominican. The resort that we stayed at was actually 2 resorts next door and therefore you had access to the amenities of each. There are 3 big pools, each of them having a different atmosphere, and 3 small pools overlooking the ocean, amazing at sunset! And with having 4 places to choose from for eating dinner made it much more interesting. The resort next door, (the Casa Marina Reef) is newer than the Beach or the Club (a small 30 room hotel one block over yet owned by the Beach). However you will probably end up spending more for staying at the Reef when really the resorts are like one.
The one thing I recommend for you to have an amazing time is to participate in as much as possible. They have tours, games in the pool and at the beach, dance lessons, etc. It's a great way to meet people and have a good laugh at the same time. I definately recommend this resort to those who want to experience the Dominican lifestyle. And I will be returning as soon as possible!!
