Coral Casa Caribe 02/19/01

Generally a very nice resort: nice facilities, great food, excellent service. However, they have too little beach area for the number of guests. The beach is man-made; it's a coral shoreline covered sporadically with sand. There was no hot water for 2 days.
We had an unpleasant experience at the airport: our luggage was mistakenly taken to a cruise ship. When eight of us finally got our bags 1.5 hours later, we went outside to find our bus. There were some anxious moments until we found it at a distant parking lot. There should have been a Regent representative, or a Casa Caribe representative, waiting for us.
This resort should be rated less than 4-star.
