Allegro Bravaro Resort 11/15/01

My boyfriend and I just got back from Punta Cana. It is a beautiful island. The Allegro Bavaro is a good place to go if you are looking for a pool, sun, and a nice beach. The food there would be a one star out of five. We had a hard time finding things to eat. I also had a difficult time finding something to drink. There are plenty of rum drinks and their local beer(Presidente) which by boyfriend liked. The red wine was okay but the white was terrible. If you are going to drink no matter where you are staying bring a big insulated cup. The glasses they give you there are too small! The disco is fun for young singles and old men it seemed like. We were too beat from the sun to go out. If you find a good deal go for it otherwise I think you could do better at another resort in Punta Cana.(Review originally submitted on March 27, 2001)
