CV on the Green 11/15/01

Our first time in the DR was very nice. Our stay on CV on the Green was very nice. The food was not gourmet, however everything had good taste and at the price charged no one should be expecting more than was served up at any of the meals. Playa Dorado golf course is a pleasant place to play, not great but not bad, the caddies are not afraid to ask for a tip and some of them think they should receive $20, this is overpriced for what you receive. The north beach is fine to suntan on, however snorkeling may be better at one of the other beaches in the DR. we liked the DR enough that we will return either here or try anpther part of this island. If you are from the States and you really need to here ENGLISH find someone early and make friends because many of this islands tourists are from Canada, Germany and other European countries. We have hosted 5 exchange students so not hearing English does not bother us, but, if people not speaking English is a problem for you! , you may have mixed reviews when you get back.
