Excellent
This is an all inclusive resort and recommend that you go in the all inclusive package everything I mention below is included except night babysitting and expensive seafood or expensive booze.
I highly recommend this resort if you like a truly tropical paradise that is up to US standards.
It also has great facilities for children, our kids almost did not want to see us as they where taken care of entertained and feed for as long as you wanted 8-6 pm and baby sitting at night, the staff that run the childcare are mostly european french german italian and all certified with children they excelent and teh chldren facilities also very good.
Food was great at the main buffet (lacking some of the better seafoods they were extra) no one I met got sick and there was some elderly people that had been there for 2-3 weeks and also many other people that had no problems.
Place was very clean, rooms, hotel, beach food etc never saw a bug inside hotel.
food was great plus you have access to 4 restaurants with different themes: italian, mexican, greek, dominican food.
Pools were great and beaches in Punta cana where big with nice white sand safe to swim even for my kids 4 & 7 yrs also there is lots to do in the hotel and staff are great many europeans in the staff and also staying at the hotel.
the resort is about 2 years old but in great shape.
My only complaint was that they did not have very many huts chairs in the beach had to go early in morning to get a decent spot & a hut/chairs
If you stay here book the suite its worth it for the extra $100 and get a pool view or beach view.
Night life sucks no towns nearby so you have to stick to the resort or nearby resorts for nightlife ( I did see a lot of young people and they seemed to have a good time resort seems to be popular with argentinians and they have some great looking women......and guys.
Lots of water sports , snorkeling is great and they have katamarans.
Staff is frienly and very helpfull tipping is included but I tipped anyways and got tremendous service afterwards.
The beach and the water look just like the white sand and turquoise waters you see in the brochures, oh by the way its very hot and can get very humid but rooms are air conditioned very well.
