Our trip was mid January 2002, 2 adults, 3 children. We had adjoining rooms. The resort was spotless. The food great and there was plenty of it. The beach was cleaned daily and the sea was very clean and pleasantly warm. What struck us most of all was how friendly the staff were. I cannot understand the comments made on this forum complaining about the staff. Obviously perfection is a variable thing. We were planning to return to Bahia Principe next year on the flight home!
