Barcelo Bavero Beach Resort 05/14/02

My husband, myself and another couple from the far north in Ontario Canada returned yesterday from a wonderful 7 day vacation at this resort. It truly is paradise. The staff are friendly, and very attentive. The food was excellent and always an abundance. I have travelled to many places and never have I found such clean people from a third world country. I highly recommend trying all of the restaurants within the 4 resorts. (did not try any at the Palace as they were not included). The weather was hot hot hot, thus we returned home nicely tanned. One thing I would not try again is the catameran excursion as it is overpriced for what you actually get. They make it sound great but it really is not. Truly a splenid holiday and one that will be cherished. I have heard that they are trying to make this resort a 5 star (which I feel it already is) however in my books it is definately a 6.
