I would not recommend the Coral Hamaca in Boca Chica. While the managment did provide us with a room upgrade at no charge because we complained about the original room, the accomodations, food and service were poor. As far as the room was concerned, the bedding was uncomfortable, the bathroom was not "attractive", they did not provide an iron in the room, and the elevator was not functioning properly.
As far as the food was concerned, except for breakfast, both lunch and dinner did not appear appetizing, or taste very good. The pizza at the beach was better.
In regards to service, we had to call the front desk several times in order to get an answer. We also requested a wake-up call which never came.
Compared to the other resorts and hotels in the Dominican Republic, this was absolutely the most unpleasant and I would not return.
