Coral Hamaca 07/24/02

The vacation i went on was a guys trip and my last one as a single man. We wnet in February 2002. I knew of the Coral Hamaca from being at a resort just down the beach called the "Don Juan Beach Resort". I don't recommend that hotel whatsoever. The Coral Hamaca is the only resort on that stretch of beach that is private. That means no locals on the beach and no vendors harassing you. Beware though because as soon as you step foot off the resort, you will be a target for vendors or beggars. I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and all it had to offer. There were plenty of women for my friends to entertain and even "hook-up" with if you know what I mean. The food was "ok" but I have had better. Noone got sick as they have purified water all over the resort (except the taps in your room -- do not drink from them). The service was excellent from the staff as well. The only complaint I have is that they don't enforce the rule of no children in the hot tubs. While I was there, a family had an infant in diapers in the hot tub and it [expletive deleted] in there. There was poop floating all through it and I was so disgusted by it. I complained to the management and they said there was nothing they could do except clean it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asked me. Later!Randy
