The Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus was by far the nicest resort in the D.R. that I have been to.The resort is new and all the bugs have been ironed out.The rooms sre large,with a mini bar stocked daily by our maid,the food in the buffet was excellent,as was the steak restaurant.I can't say much about the Japanese al la carte .I didn't want the seafood so I ordered something else but they forgot to prepare my food.I did however eat the sushi.(my first time and I must say it was pretty good)
The beach is fantastic,nice white sand and no seaweed.lots of palapas on the beach as well as around the pools.
