Occidental Allegro Playa Grande All-Inclusive 03/07/2006
Reviewers Rating: Fair
Rooms are in need of refurbishing. Smelly and musty. Our toilet didn't work for 4 days. They don't have drinking water in the rooms you have to ask and it comes in used milk jugs not sealed. No refidgerators in the room and some rooms didn't have T.V.s. We had a microwave but it didn't work. The resort is on a cliff and the beach is 94 steps below. Not much use for older people-- you have to be a mountain goat. If you like to golf you might enjoy this run-down place but be prepared to pay around $140.00 to golf. One bar in the pool area and one down below by the beach so be willing to wait to get a drink. Even pop or water as that is where you go to get your water jugs refilled. There is also a bar at the Disco that opens at 11:00pm. Never did use that one. Who could hear you if you did order anything? Food is less then desirable, we ate a lot of bread and fruit. The staff are more then willing to entertain the young female guests. If your older forget it!
