Paraiso Del Sol Resort - an Amhsa Marina Resort

We stayed at the Paraiso Camino del Sol at Cabarate, in Sept. 04.
I read previous reviews and was concerned.
Yes there was food poisoning! Every day people were going to the American doctors and were put on "drips." The pools were checked, hygiene people inspected the kitchens and the rooms were fumigated.
The staff tried their best and the entertainment (if you could find it) was crap.
Our room was on the ground floor facing the middle pool. By the end of the 1st week it had a damp smell and by the 2nd week we had mold on our suitcases.
This hotel is really just for board with drinks.
We travelled with Thomson Holidays. It was new to them and I think they are having a laugh. We paid each £515 and some people had paid £800 each. Apparently the hotel is "you get what you pay for".
I would not stay there or recommend it to anyone! Top Tip: go to the southern end and definitely upgrade to 4/5 star.
