We have stayed here twice and loved each visit. On our second visit we were recognized by some of the staff and we were welcomed like family coming home. The food at four restaurants (beach grill) in the resort is top notch. Only the Italian was a notch below a good Italian restaurant in the States. Being returning guests, we received a little more than first timers (a returnees dinner and gifts).

A real plus to this Sandals is the private beach. You can reserve a beach chair and leave your beach bag next to it. We never had any trouble with someone taking anything. The watersports coordinators are very good. I went snorkling off the reef for the first time and one of them got me used to it and showed me some of the special areas of the reef--even a sting ray resting on the sand below! He was also quick to point out the stinging jellyfish to avoid.

Another big draw for the Sandals at Montego Bay is that it is minutes away from the airport. True, you will get the jet noise when the big ones take off; however, you're on the beach in less time than at other Sandals on Jamaica.
