Sandals Royal and Sandals Ocho Rios 1/25/00

We have been to many of the Caribbean Islands, but we always seem to return to Ja., primarily due to the Sandals Resorts. We have stayed at the Royal in Montego Bay 3 times,the Sandals Ocho Rios once,and have visited the Sandals Montego Bay.We love the elegance of the Royal. From the beautifully furnished rooms, to the well diversed restaurants we fell in love with this particular resort. The staff is extremely helpful and courtious,the "included" watersports and instructions fun and exciting.The beach and its grounds are absolutely immaculate at all times of the day and night.The nightly entertainment is lively and creative.The Sandals Ocho Rios is beautiful as well, but we found the restaurants not up to par to the Royal and the staff not as friendly and helpful, and there was a much younger clientle. For a middleaged married couple, we felt we did not "fit" in at this particular Sandals and would rate it "good".Howver, the Sandals "experience" has never been a disappointment, and we will return to Ja. and Sandals many times.
