Holiday Inn Sunspree 02/25/01

My husband and I just got back from Holiday Inn SunSpree a week ago and I can hardly wait to go back. However, next time we will bring our kids. This resort is very geered towards children. There is an abundance of activities for them.
Although, we had no problem enjoying ourselves without the kids with us. The adults only pool was wonderful, with a float up bar and great bartenders. Everyone is very friendly.
The room we had was pretty nice. The a/c got noisy sometimes and the bathroom could of been a little cleaner. The pillows on the beds were hard and lumpy. Cleaning staff was a little slow because one day we came back to our room around 5p.m.- after being gone all day and it still hadn't been cleaned.
The food was good. The buffet was adequate. The restaraunts were nice but our favorite was the food stand where they served the hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and fish and chips all day into the night. Make sure to book a restaraunt early.
The resort had a wide assortment of activites going on all the time so there was something for everyone. Their shows were entertaining. The night club, Witches, was fun as well as the casino.
Bring cash because there is no atm or way to get cash within the hotel.
Drinks were great and we highly reccomend the Bahama Mamas.
Also go under the all-inclusive package....it's a must. Overall, this was a great and clean place. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
