Wyndam Beach Resort & Country Club 02/28/01

My boyfriend and I just returned from the Wyndam resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The resort sits on a perfect piece of property with exceptional views.

Usually I am a "beach-nut," - especially while in the Carribean, but the one pool at this resort makes an adult feel like a kid. There are two extra large pools, but the "rapid-pool," was enjoyed by more adults then children. This pool is stocked with yellow round tubes, jets (to give you that rapid affect), water-slides, and waterfalls. I/we spent hours there!

The food was slightly above average, although I felt there should have been more of a selection on the menu(s), as well as more "restaurants" inside the hotel. There are two "finer" restaurants inside - but if you do not make an early reservation...you will be eating at the very average "all you can eat buffet."

Our room was impressively clean and also, a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The grounds were perfectly manicured.

Do go for the all-inclusive stay. We, unfortunately did not - needless to say...it's very expensive "a-la-carte."
